Breastfeeding @ 13 - Mothers Love or Disturbing?

Reading Thats Life and boy was I shocked. Its not one of my regular reads but it was there so I read it. Turning the page I have to admit with the headline "Breastfeeding my 13 year old son" I just stared open mouthed. 

Now dont bash because I am not an antibreastie I am a breastfeeding mom and have been for almost 14 months now and have no immediate plans to give up. 

I do however think that 13 is too old to be breastfed. I think at that age they are starting puberty and are more aware of sexuality (not that breastfeeding is a sexual thing at all) and at 13 life is confusing enough for them trying to work out what they do and who they are.
