Sad Times

Update: In December my Auntie In Law passed away in hospital with her husband. At least now she is at peace. Thinking of you always xxx 




So sad and annoyed - I cant post this on the wall because family will read and they are psychotic and I dont think they did enough. My Auntie In Law who I thought was fab has been an alchie but MIL thought it best not to tell any of us and to hide it. We found out from her daughter who is few years younger because she needed someone to talk to but we werent to tell people (she was telling us and others that her hubby had tried to throttle her, etc and of course not knowing she was an alchie). Well her hubby left her and mil and gmil decided that she was a bitch to their son/brother so decided to wash their hands of her too.

Last year she was rushed into hospital around the time of my wedding and was told if she drank again that would be it shes in such bad shape it would kill her. She was doing so well looking good, doing voluntary work and putting her life on track. but then say Sept time I saw her outside Asda hammered she was a complete mess. I rang hubby to tell MIL that she was back on the drink and her response was oh well we have been here before. She got rushed in a fortnight ago and now mil and gmil are up there every day. Now ive just been told she has pneumonia and its either today or tomorrow she is going to go. Its so sad shes only 52 her daughter just got engaged last xmas but it makes me angry that they didnt do anything for her now they are making such a fuss of going up there its so two faced. Instead of hiding it and enabling her when it first became a problem they should have made it public to the immediate family and set up support networks within to help rather than put all effort in hiding.

Kim Kardashian Divorces Kris

Well I dont know about you but I am so not shocked at this. I am a huge Kardashian fan I love the Jenners and watching the show is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. Although as soon as Kris Humphries appeared on the scene I started to really dislike him and Kim. He was arrogant, childish, rude and abusive. They were both extremely judgemental, especially toward Kourtney and the fact that she wished she had breastfed longer and was co-sleeping. I was disgusted that 2 people were so closeminded that they were telling her to let him cry it out and use the ferber method, especially Kim as you should support family and they are always supposed to be seen as a close family. For Kris to then have a pop at her aswell when he is a stranger and non-parent was a plain cheek. After that episode aired I immediately stopped following her on facebook and twitter.

I did watch the wedding as I have this habit of watching weddings I think it stems from the days of wedding planning that I did. I liked her first dress didnt like the headgear and didnt like the two dresses that followed. 

I thought Khloe looked gorgeous (I love her and lamlam) and Mason was adorable walking down the aisle (im even warming to Scott these days).

During the planning it was worrying that they hadnt spoken about where they would live, where the dogs would stay or whether she should change her name. Now Im sure she could have kept her Kardashian name for business and used Humphries on all personal accounts. I cannot recall who has done this but the fact that even Khloe has put Kardashian as her middle name so she is now Khloe Odam says how much more genuine her wedding was to Kims. 

72 days after the wedding and Kim is filing for Divorce citing irreconcilible differences, when the entire thing was a money making scheme. Her official statement:

"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."

Life gets in the way sometimes

I havent been on here in well over a month and so my rants have been building and ive just been exploding. My monkey is fab although I think we are all suffering with a cold at the moment so thats fun and Ive actually started my christmas shopping for the kids at least mine and the nieces and nephews so Im on the ball at the moment. We are also house hunting although seem to be disagreeing on property more than anything I found 3 houses I like hubby doesnt so wont make appointments to view them says I have to but my point is - whats the point if hes not going to like them. We both have stubborn heads sometimes although Ive just found one that could be a good possibilty even he liked it. I cant wait though I want another monkey and need the room before I can start trying :( 

So fingers crossed.

As well as not being on here Ive been a bit distant with friends which is totally my fault but I cant help it Im working and when im not working Ive got monkey - hes been teething, sickness and diarrhoea, colds, etc then I have caught them. Its been a little circle which as a mum or dad you expect. I barely want to go out of the house when Im sick or monkey is so socialising is right down on the bottom of my list. When I do mean to stuff happens like day trips get planned or monkey has a class to go to then we have shopping and it slips my mind completely and I do feel awful but I walked into wilkinsons yesterday wanting string I walked out with a garlic press, baking trays, smelly for the bathroom and you've guessed it NO STRING - I forgot till I got home and needed the string I went to buy.

Said Crystal Harris was a famehungry

Well what a shock Crystal has come out and spoken about her bedroom habits with Hef and lets just say not very nicely. Now all women have at one point degraded their ex but isnt it generally when he has hurt you not when he has given you everything. My one ex used to think I was joking when I used to facebook that sucking him was like sucking the tip of a pencil he would go along with a few of the things I said and I honestly dont think he realised I meant everyone of them. I was within my rights to as he didnt get me anything for christmas and we had been together for almost a year and he was 7 years older than me. He accused me of sleeping with his boss a few days later then before new year said he didnt know whether he wanted to be with me so i said bye bye and met a make out friend a few days later.

Kendra says it best with:

She just totally made herself look like crap. She looks like trash. I mean, it’s disgusting. She needs to keep her mouth shut, and be a bigger person. Walk away. People don’t like that. People don’t like a hypocrite. She’s a hypocrite. It’s not classy. Hef’s been Hef for how many years now?! With all the drama he’s had for 86 years, what’s this one girl going to do? She just needs to keep her mouth shut. 

It does show though that Holly, Bridget & Kendra truly cared for him as they have never spilt bedroom details about Hef - thats the classy way to end the unconventional relationship.

Bloody Dog

Well lets just say Im slightly more hormonal than I normally would be but oh my goodness I want to string her up. My dog is 2 and a half and generally pretty good and goes outside since we have been putting her in a crate when we leave the house and overnight. This was because the monkey arrived and we couldnt have her peeing and pooing all over the living room, over the sofa and cushions. I have lost my temper many a time but then we discovered crating and it seemed to work. 

The dog in question is a Bichon and they absolutely hate the rain so we always knew to be on look out to make sure she went outside. This morning I literally got up off the chair went into the kitchen to get monkey something came back and she had peed all over his car mat right where I was sitting. 

Its such bs when people say they dont know that they werent supposed to do and they didnt know it was wrong. Trust me she knows that she is not supposed to do it and that she will get into major trouble peeing in the house. For one she waits until I go to the bathroom or out of the room before doing it and then looks extremely guilty and hides in the corner until I have seen what she has done. 

This is laziness pure and simple she would rather shit and piss on a nice warm mat than on the wet grass in the rain. Ive now had to throw my sons road mat in the bathroom as Ive washed and sprayed it and it still honks but shes done it before on there so it obvious the smell is still there so I think my hubby can take me to Ikea to get another one today as I have major PMS and have a monkey who thinks its fun to play in the water I am mopping the pee up with.

I rant alot but have no intention of actually killing her just like I feel like killing my mother in law it doesnt actually mean im going to but it feels good to get it out there

Seriously?

Ok so Kerry Katona was sacked by CAN associates. The people who are paying her bills, mobile phone and keeping a roof over her childrens heads. The reason was that she broke the original deal that they made, that she had to stay sober and clean and out of contact with her ex Mark, she also had to live down south away from bad influences. Photos appeared of her blotto and puking in her bag and days later she was let go.

Now according to Kerry she decided that her career was not going in the direction that she wanted - what up? 

So selfishly she decided to quit the company paying her rent and giving her pocket money. She then cries to the papers that by 5pm sunday she is going to be made homeless with her children with £400 in the bank. Boo bloody hoo. Im sorry I have no sympathy for the woman. I feel dreadfully sorry for her kids for having such a selfish mother and I hope they come out ok. 

CAN took Kerry newly divorced, fresh out of a drug scandal and turned her image around. Im not a huge fan of either but kudos to Claire for sorting her out.

If reports are true that Kerry quit CAN then she is a complete tw*t. Who gives up the person keeping a roof over her childrens heads? Her career wasnt going the way she wanted so what suck it up until your bankruptcy clears and you have some of your own money and then make a decision. There are loads of people who are doing jobs that they dont want to do to keep a house and food on their tables. 

I think that she broke the terms of the agreement and was let go. She forgets that when you search your bag for a ticket you need your hands, whereas the picture shows her hands on the outside of the bag and her head inside. 

Both Peter Manipulative Andre and Amy Who Childish have come out batting for Claire - Oh what a wonderful woman she is, she did everything for Kerry, she was amazing, yadda yadda. The fact that they are CAN puppets are probably the only reason as they must have been given a script as they both wrote the same thing. 

So Kerry - you are an idiot, quit giving stories to the papers, saying you quit them doesnt make you look any better if anything it makes you look worse, so get a grip!!

oh she also admits to being drunk 

As for the drinking in Marbella, I’m not going to sit here and apologise for that in the slightest. I’ve worked my bottom off for the last seventeen months. I’ve played mum and dad to four children and that holiday was the best that I’ve ever ever ever had. I did get drunk and I don’t regret it. If I don’t let my hair down every now and then I’d go insane.

Breastmilk attack on cops

I had to post this story. I read about it in a column by Jane Moore this morning, who couldn't understand how she did it unless it was already expressed or had a pump attached. She obviously has never breastfed a baby as my hubby will atest you can get quite a distance on boob spray. 

Anyhows a woman in Ohio was arrested for assault on cops for spraying breastmilk at them. The story is:

A lactating U.S. woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after she sprayed sheriff's deputies with breast milk as they tried to remove her from a vehicle, police said on Monday.

Ohio-resident Stephanie Robinette, 30, was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault linked to a domestic dispute, as well as resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office.

It said Robinette's husband told authorities the pair had been attending a wedding when his wife got drunk and started a dispute. He said that she hit him multiple times before locking herself in her car outside a banquet facility on Saturday.

Sheriff Walter L. Davis III said that when police approached the car to speak to her, she yelled profanities and refused to get out.

"When deputies attempted to remove Robinette from the vehicle she advised the deputies that she was a breastfeeding mother and proceeded to remove her right breast from her dress and began spraying deputies and the vehicle with her breast milk," Davis said.

Robinette was later removed from the car and arrested after more deputies arrived on the scene.

"This is a prime example of how alcohol can make individuals do things they would not normally do," Davis said.

Well Well Well

Well I havent been on here for about a week now due to one thing and another, mainly because Ive not been too well and then with work and the little monkey its just been crazy. At the moment Im a little better, no voice but no immediate pain which is always a good thing. 

I am however a bit peeved off. I got into an argument friday with my hubby as everyone does at some point over the dragon in law. Now because I needed to rant and vent before I went off to work I thought I would get support off a website that I frequent. By the time I got home that night the air was clear but I had had a few responses to my rant. Not wanting to be rude I glanced and was told I had confused people, which when I rant I am aware I do because my mind switches so quickly from topics and I have so much to say and it can sometime seem a bit jumbled. I tried to clarify myself which earned I thought not so nice replies. I wish I could delete it but there is no option so I wrote a reply defending myself, my choice and my husband. The replies I got made it sound as though I was on the verge of divorce through smothering my husband, which I can tell you I am not. 

The argument was mainly because he had been busy all week in work and so hadnt always responded to me yet was able to phone his mother who was blanking us because she wanted to guilt hubby and it worked 6 days of silent treatment and he caved whereas I thought it was hysterical giving us peace and quiet. 

Because I wrote this I got told it was my hubbys subtle way of telling me to give him space and implying I should only text him in work in an emergency. Hubby rings me on mornings he has taken monkey to creche just to say morning as I leave before he gets up and to say how monkey was he then requests I ring him when I pick monkey up - he likes to know how hes been if hes eaten his food and behaved etc - he then rings on his way home from work. Other than the creche thing we have always done this the entire time we have been together. It is what works for us, just like when Im home and he leaves for work I always have a kiss goodbye as does monkey. 

So for all those wannabe therapists out there - sometimes when your husband doesnt answer your text because he is busy - maybe he is just busy not not answering because he wants space from you but is too gutless to say that. 

Also my husband has a lovely - if you can call any pair of testicles lovely as they kind of just hang there hairily - pair. Which he does not keep in his mothers purse. He defends his family just as I do against people who make incorrect judgements on it. I dont comment negatively on your issues and just because they are different to my dragon in law issues does not mean they are more important.

Hopefully I have made my point clearly and not rambled on too much.

Hef left Heartbroken

Well I always said that Crystal Harris was no good for him and that he definitely shouldnt marry her as she didnt care for him in the slightest. The media reports since they called off the wedding have proven that she is a callous b*tch.

Apparently she touted numerous publications to dump Hef at the altar!!! No I hope this is total b*llocks because that is a heartless thing for anyone to do!

A source told the New York Post newspaper:

"Crystal wanted to ditch Hef at the altar. Her plan was to walk up the aisle and say she couldn't go through with it. The wedding was to be filmed for a reality special, and her refusal to marry him would be a sensation.


"She was looking for a tie-in deal of around $500,000 for the exclusive 'I ditched Hef at the altar' interview. While there was interest, Crystal didn't get an offer anywhere near half a million."

As well as touting for money she released her new single monday around the time of the split. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest she mentions that the lifestyle was not for her, Im sorry but you have been living the same lifestyle for two and a half years, I have never lived there but know its never going to be a quiet household there are going to be girls everywhere - its the FRIGGING PLAYBOY MANSION - thats the image anyone with half a braincell would work out what the lifestyle is let alone someone who has been living it for almost 3 years. At least she did it before the wedding rather than after, even 5 days.

The good news is that now there is a chance for Holly to go back to the man she loves and who loves her dearly. Fingers crossed.

Playboy Bunnys - Degrading to Women?

Well its no secret to the people around me that Im a huge fan of Playboy and Hugh Hefner. I have read everything I can just to find out how the empire was built to quell my curiosity. They have recently reopened the Playboy Club in London and it has been hit by a storm of protesters claiming that dressing as rabbits is degrading to women. 

When they originally opened in the 60s they hired women and paid them more than they would have gotten doing the same hours elsewhere. As well as the good pay they were also given the chance to go back to school and retrain as well as hours to suit their childcare. If anything Playboy was one of the main players in the feminism war. Yes they were dressed sexily as bunnies but that was a gimmick uniform that went with the job. Even now you can walk down the road and have men staring at you like a sex object at least in the bunny costume you are protected and getting paid good money. No bunny is allowed to meet with the clients as it is grounds for dismissal and many of the former bunnies went on to become important in their fields of science, medicine and law. 

Hefner has said of the protest: 

"A feminist protest in 2011 to the Playboy Bunnies is lame...Playboy and the Playboy clubs were the end of sexism. Women were being held bondage for hundreds of years, owned first by their fathers and then their husbands, Playboy helped to change all that,"

I think that if you want to throw your name behind something and protest then go against someone who deserves it when the people participating are being forced to like the slave labour that Nestle uses in its cocoa fields and the fact that they are killing babies in the third world by going to Africa and telling the mothers that their milk is bad and they need to use their formula brand of milk as it is better than the breast. Seriously people at least the women in the bunny suit CHOOSE to be in the bunny suits. They know exactly what is expected of them and they are paid well. CHILDREN are KIDNAPPED and FORCED to work in cocoa fields and have their feet cut if they try to escape and they are paid pittence if at all. So rather than give up your kitkat and stop the evil Nestle company you would rather attack Hugh Hefner who has never forced a woman to pose naked, have sex with him or dress like a bunny. 

Cheating Men & Super Injunctions

Now the last few weeks everyone has been buzzing about the premiership footballer who took out a superinjuction against former BB star Imogen Thomas. The papers, media and Imogen herself were unable to name this star even though she was named, this resulted in Imogen being threatened and called the most disgusting names.

I dont agree with what she did but Im sorry she wasnt the married one. Why was it ok for him to go to court so that noone could say oh soandso what a bast*rd and then let Imogen take all the flack.

I dont understand why women prey on famous married men, and im not saying that is what Imogen did as far as I know she could genuinely have loved the guy and believed his bull but why are these men stupid enough to fool around?

Just to name a few. The most recent name to add to that list - Ryan Giggs. He was named by an MP after the Scottish Sunday Herald published a not so anonymous photo of the star as well as Twitter going Giggs crazy. 

Now after treating Imogen as a massive homewrecking whore we discover that he has been sleeping with his sister in law for the past 8 years. Natasha (Sister in Law) is said to be "really hurt" when she found out that Giggs had cheated on her with Imogen. They also had sex through his wifes pregnancies and a day after she gave birth as what better way to celebrate the birth of your child than to sleep with its auntie? 

Natasha after cheating on her partner for 7 years then decides to marry him but continues to cheat on him. I think that she is worse than Imogen, as Imogen was a stranger whereas Natasha was family. 

The biggest homewrecking whore award goes to Ryan Giggs. He was married when he cheated on his wife, she was pregnant twice during that time as well. He was also continually sleeping with his "sometimes" pregnant brothers girlfriend who was mother to his niece/nephew.

He is the main one to blame in all of this. Who cares how good he kicks a ball it still doesnt give him the right to cheat on his wife! No Wayne Rooney, No Peter Crouch!!!!!!! 

The people I feel sorry are the ones who are going to have to pick up the pieces - His wife, kids, brother and his kids, his parents - it has destroyed a 3 generation family because he couldnt keep his willie in his trousers!!

Delta & Brian Move On

A month maybe, thereabouts after their split and Delta has been papped holding hands with Nick Jonas. After 4 years engaged it took her all of a month to find someone else. Hes 18 to her 26 so a bit of an age gap although about the same as Brian was 31. This photo was taken last week and apparently Brian was gutted, devastated, thought she was in America patching up her broken heart when she was really with a Jonas Bro.It now appears, well in todays paper anyway that Brian has found himself a newgal to patch up his broken heart. Although reports are saying that he met Vogue Williams (parent with a sense of humour maybe - will have to check whether its her stage name) a month ago and so he waited a respectable fortnight before finding someone else. I do feel sorry for his kids because as he said before while hes not in a relationship he has all the time in the world for them, I wonder how much of them hes going to see now he has a new girlfriend.

I admit it my guilty pleasure is the Kardashians Tv Show although without Kris and Bruce Jenner they tend to suck a little. I didnt enjoy Kim and Kourtney in New York it was boring and Scott is a complete plank. I do however enjoy Khloe and Lamar and cant wait til she has babies, they will come out 6ft!!

Some Rapes are worse than others

At least that is what this man - Ken Clarke - seems to think. While talking on the radio Kenneth Clarke came out with:

I am sick of the censorship that surrounds the issue of rape.

So I shall defy it. Of course all rapes are bad. But some rapes are worse than others.

The extension of rape, to cover any situation where a woman says she has been raped, is a huge difficulty for a fair legal system that relies on actual evidence before deciding guilt.

Even for saying this, I know quite well that I will get raging, lying abuse.

This morning MEP Roger Helmer has come out to defend him by saying that some women are partly to blame for their rape. 

"Imagine a woman voluntarily goes to her boyfriend's apartment, undresses and gets into bed, perhaps anticipating sex. But at the last minute she gets cold feet and says 'Stop!'. The young man, in the heat of the moment, is unable to restrain himself and carries on.

"The victim surely shares a part of the responsibility, if only for establishing reasonable expectations in her boyfriend's mind."

This shows that the Slut Walk is needed to change peoples perceptions of Rape. Rape is a disgustingly violent crime that will stay with the woman and affect everything she does in her life from that moment on long after the person who committed the crime actually serves whatever sentence that they get given. 

Whether it is a boyfriend or husband who wouldnt stop when you said no to the guy who attacks you when you are out and about it is still a violation of a woman and it is still a rape. A woman is NOT the husbands property and it is not his right to expect and demand sex whenever he wishes. A man is able to stop he just chooses not to as I dont think men understand the effect a rape has on a woman and just thinks it was a joke in the heat of the moment. They all also use the oh I couldnt stop myself excuse and the you put it on a plate you cant change your mind at the last minute. 

What kind of message is this sending the younger generation if the older generation are still coming out with tosh like this. If you get into bed with your girlfriend and she says no you can still have sex because she enticed you and how are you able to control yourself? 

Because Ken Clarke wants to free up prison you dont have the risk of a jail sentence because you knew the victim and she knew you so that makes it a lesser crime. Will the same be said now of date rape cases or cases where the woman is drunk and a man takes advantage? 

I think if men were put in the position - specifically Ken Clarke - they would think differently about rape. Maybe when he is having a shower at his fancy mens club someone needs to wait until he drops the soap and then show him exactly what it feels like to have things inserted into your body that you didnt consent to.

Botox for kids mum loses custody

Kerry Campbell has lost custody of her 8 year old daughter after injecting her live on Good Morning America. Child Protection Officials took Britney over the weekend from her home in San Francisco while they investigate her mother for child abuse. Took them long enough.

Update

In an interview with The Sun Kerry has done a complete 180. After bragging about how she is injecting botox and fillers into her daughter, as well as waxing her, back in March she is now feeling the magnatude of what she has done to her daughter its just sad that her daughter had to be taken away for her to realise what she has been doing is abuse. I dont know whether I fully trust what she says, it seems to be a bit of I'll say what they want to hear to stop me being a hate figure and get my daughter back but dont believe it.

What Kerry says to The Sun:

 "I cannot put into words the remorse I feel.

I am going to seek therapy for my obsession with looks so I will no longer push my insecurities about appearance on to her.

I will not use Botox on her ever again.

I honestly felt I was helping her. I regret doing it and remain committed to being a good mother and being reunited with my daughter.

I never wanted to harm Britney in any way and I thought I was helping her.

What has happened is devastating and I realise now that I was wrong.

I realise now what I did was wrong. I was so consumed with making Britney a star that I didn't realise how bad my behaviour was.

I am not emotionally unstable or an evil mother. Britney is the light of my life and I was trying to help her.

I can no longer bring myself to look at the comments on websites covering the story. It makes me feel like I am being beaten up.

I want Sun readers to know that I love my daughter with all my heart. People have said so many horrible things about me, when all I wanted was the best for my child."

One thing that is true, she definitely needs help and whereas she may not be an evil mother she isnt a good one. It will take more than I'm sorry to make her a good mother, that is even if she is allowed to have her daughter back although it has been mentioned that supervised visits would be the start of the family repairing itself. However I am slightly worried when a family member has been quoted saying:

"Kerry is a fantastic mother and she was simply trying to give her daughter a leg-up. Britney has shown absolutely no ill effects from the treatment and has always been a happy child.

"To say she is being abused is plain ridiculous." 

Its abuse when you inject poison into your child. Its abuse when you cause them pain for no reason (depending where she waxes it hurts as does getting injected by a needle). It is also abuse when you mess with your 8 year old daughters head and distort their vision of themselves. That poor girl will hopefully recover and not have any issues with her face and body but the chances of that are slim unless she is given the support that she is beautiful and doesnt need poison to make her so.

Well since last year I have stopped all contact with hubbys brother after a nasty argument that was started by something that didnt even involve him and his wife but they decided to get involved and make a thing, with doing this other things came out and so came the exclusion from monkey and my life. Hubby is able to see his niece and nephew whenever he so chooses even their parents for that matter but monkey is not. Now it may not be fair but since this has been in place its been peaceful to some extent at our house. Not that we saw them all that often before this. 

Its their youngests birthday in a couple of weeks and hubby texted to see what he could get and you would not believe the reply. Apparently as their youngest has never met monkey (which is a lie for starters they were just both too little to remember) there is no point in buying presents. Now Im happy about this because they buy stupid or crappy gifts anyway (a talking photo frame for a 9 month old for xmas with a photo of their kids in - seriously who does that? Oh and a cheap plastic drum and an ugly pooh brown outfit when monkey is in pale blues, disney or dungarees - all of which can be picked up for cheaper than the outfit they bought) Whereas I spent ages (yes I did) trying to find the best value for the money and the best toys for the money for their xmas and birthdays. To deny my hubby of getting something for his brothers child something on their first birthday is ridiculous and Im glad that he sent that back in the text although I believe the words prickish were involved. 

I do like that the longer this exclusion goes on the more idiotic they react which just goes toward my original argument of why I dont want my monkey around them. They are toxic people who use those around them and to be honest Im glad they are out of my life.

Celebrity Apprentice

While Im putting my votes in for DWTS I may as well put the names forward for The Apprentice. Who do I want to win?

Marlee Matlin

I really like Marlee and everything she does. She is truly an inspiration as well as raising the most money ever in the history of the apprentice. 

If she didnt win I wanted Meatloaf to but after last weeks episode he drove me a little mad with all the tears and yes he raised the money to go to his charity but thats the game you raise as much as you can to win not sit and cry and refuse to raise anymore unless you guarantee it goes to your charity. Although I really wanted Gary Busey to do well because I had never really heard of him before and he was out of his tree but so funny. 

Im glad Star Jones went she was so manipulative and the way she was trying to blame Meat sunday about the product placement as well as throwing every member of her team under the bus at one time she was a nasty piece of work and needs to join Omarosa in obscurity. I just wish Nene had stayed to kick her butt. Im not keen on Lil Jon or John Rich ( Seriously Don quite trying to replace Trace Adkins, hes the only guy sexy enough to carry off a stetson on the apprentice) so sunday night I shall have my fingers crossed Marlee comes out on top but have a horrible feeling its going to be John Rich.

Kirsty & Maksim

I was originally backing Kendra and Louis as well as Kirsty but I noticed a slight attitude coming out of Kendra which was less than flattering. She seemed overly defensive and quite bitchy at times which shocked me as was a huge fan of the original Girls Next Door and watch their inidivual shows. The worst bit was when she started mouthing off because Carrie Ann said that she thought she was afraid of elegance and she said she didnt care and then the following day she was bleep bleep bleeping. 

I didnt expect Kirsty to be as good as she was and I really like Ralph as well. 

So Im backing Kirsty and Maks and hopefully Ralph and Karina make it into the top 3 although I have a sneaking suspicion that Chelsea and Mark could steal the disco ball even though I really really dont want them too. 

3 nights of no sleep

Well my monkey came home from creche and alongside his teething it looks as though he has a cold which he has kindly passed onto me and his daddy. He has been up every half hour throughout the night and I think its lucky that we are still co-sleeping and breastfeeding as it takes seconds for him to go back off, unless he is really upset and then boobtime takes about 15 mins. Add to that 2 irritable parents because we both have blocked up and runny noses and my house is not a fun house at the moment. 

Fingers crossed the colds pass quickly. As I type this hubby and monkey are sleeping on the sofa, although they do look so sweet together!

Woman Sues to Masturbate at Work

I have to admit as a nonsmoker, people who went out during their shifts to have a crafty fag were one of my pet peeves. Now I didnt mind five mins at the beginning of the shift or just before the end but those people who went out for 20 minutes at a time and were clearly just skiving, leaving other people to do the work annoyed the hell out of me. 

Now if you live in Brazil this woman Ana Catarina Bezerra Silvares has sued so that she can masturbate during work hours. The reason she needs to masturbate at work? Apparently she has a condition which is caused by a chemical alteration in her brain that triggers severe anxiety and hypersexuality. She also has won the right to watch porn in the workplace because lets face it everyone needs something to get them in the mood. 

"I got so bad I would to masturbate up to forty seven-times a day. That's when I asked for help, I knew it wasn't normal."

After seeking medical attention and a prescription of tranquilisers she now masturbates 18 times a day. The court ruled that Ana is allowed to masturbate for 15 minutes every 2 hours.

I personally cant think of anything worse than going into my toilet at home and masturbating let alone a public toilet and doing it. Imagine everyone knowing what you are doing the minute you get up from your seat and go to the toilet. Although I dont have this problem so im able to curl up in comfort but still I cant help but wonder how many other people are going to take advantage of this.

Did Bristol Palin have cosmetic surgery - Ya Ha

 

If you looked at the person on the left you would probably think, like I did, Oh Sarah Chalke (blonde one off scrubs, currently starring in MadLove) has dyed her hair dark although it still didnt look quite right. However I would never have guessed that it was Bristol Palin. Now im not a fan of the Palins and she should never have gotten to the final of Dancing With The Stars but she was a pretty girl so why would she alter her appearance so drastically, to the point where she is unrecognisable? Especially as she earns her money being recognisable as the teen Palin mom. 

When talking to Us Weekly she admits that she underwent corrective jaw surgery in December as a result her face now appears thinner, with higher cheekbones and an angular jaw.

"Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons, I look older, more mature and don't have as much of a chubby little baby face, I wouldn't get plastic surgery unless I got in an accident or something terrible and got disfigured"

I disagree that it has improved the way she looked as she does look like a totally different person and its not as if she looked bad originally. Looking through the past and present photos though I dont think it was just corrective jaw surgery, I think a nose job may have been thrown in as well.

Slut Walk Trafalgar Square on Saturday 4th June at 1pm

This started at the beginning of the year when a police officer in Toronto suggested that women shouldn't dress like "sluts" if they wanted to avoid being raped or assaulted. Constable Michael Sanguinetti was addressing students from York University at a safety forum last January when the remark slipped out. Although he later apologised and was disciplined by the Toronto police department, some women felt that his words revealed the inadequate treatment of sexual assault victims by many law enforcement agents

As you can imagine these remarks have sparked a string of complaints and now a number of internation protest marches.

"women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized"

If you get dressed up and wear a mini skirt or low cut top and get sexually assaulted then people assume you said yes at the time but then changed your mind when you sobered up. 

What happens though if a girl of 11 is dressed provocatively to look older and is then gang raped?

Obviously it is the mothers fault for not knowing where her 11 year old daughter was and allowing her to dress that way and it was the other womans fault for getting so drunk she was unable to remember large chunks of the attack.  

I have been sexually assaulted as well as physically assaulted. One of my boyfriends very kindly gave me my first black eyes and tried to rape me when I refused to have sex with him. Another guy I know pushed me down the stairs trying to pin me down to get a grope but I managed to get away and that was in high school. My cousins boyfriend (of the time) tried to attack me in my own room because he thought we would have fun behind my cousins back, She couldnt believe he would do such a thing and so I got blamed. One of my friends got absolutely hammered, pinned me down in a pub and tried to strip me off it took 3 other friends to get me away from him, I jumped straight in my car and he jumped on the bonnet as I tried to drive off. My boyfriend at the time said that it was my own fault because I shouldnt hang around with the boys and I shouldnt have been wearing what I wore. It was a short skirt but knee length and a blouse but thats not the point. Some of these were people I thought were friends I grew up with one of them and the others I had known for at least 6 years having gone through high school with them. I was still a virgin up until the time my drunken friend and my cousins ex did what they did and then I was with my boyfriend for a few years and were even engaged, so no sexual promiscuity there. I am also teetotal so I was in control of my faculties.
I never told anyone but it took its toll on my confidence. It took me a long time to get over what had happened but if you met me in the street you would never ever guess that this was my past as I refuse to be a victim.

I dont like the word slut its very derogatory but I do like the organisers of the Slut Walks reasons:

“SlutWalk is not an event to recruit sluts, but to defend sluts”

Historically, the term ‘slut’ has carried a predominantly negative connotation. Aimed at those who are sexually promiscuous, be it for work or pleasure, it has primarily been women who have suffered under the burden of this label. And whether dished out as a serious indictment of one’s character or merely as a flippant insult, the intent behind the word is always to wound, so we’re taking it back. “Slut” is being re-appropriated.

We are tired of being oppressed by slut-shaming; of being judged by our sexuality and feeling unsafe as a result. Being in charge of our sexual lives should not mean that we are opening ourselves to an expectation of violence, regardless if we participate in sex for pleasure or work. No one should equate enjoying sex with attracting sexual assault.

We are a movement demanding that our voices be heard. We are here to call foul on our Police Force and demand change. We want Toronto Police Services to take serious steps to regain our trust. We want to feel that we will be respected and protected should we ever need them, but more importantly be certain that those charged with our safety have a true understanding of what it is to be a survivor of sexual assault — slut or otherwise.

We are tired of speeches filled with lip service and the apologies that accompany them. What we want is meaningful dialogue and we are doing something about it: WE ARE COMING TOGETHER. As people from all gender expressions and orientations, all walks of life, levels of employment and education, all races, ages, abilities, and backgrounds, from all points of this city and elsewhere.

We are asking you to join us for SlutWalk, to make a unified statement about sexual assault and victims’ rights and to demand respect for all. Whether a fellow slut or simply an ally, you don’t have to wear your sexual proclivities on your sleeve, we just ask that you come. Any gender-identification, any age. Thieving sods

Well what a wonderful day I had. 

I started work as normal and halfway through I get a guy coming in and stealing money from the till when I open it to put the money he gave me for chocolate in it. 

I wasnt threatened with a knife or gun but it still scared the hell out of me. Yet because I wasnt threatened with any weapon people have just gone oh right thats ok your not hurt. 

Now I rant alot but that doesnt make me a victim but so many things were going through my head including the fact I would be blamed because I should have done something to stop it, even though it happened in a split second and I wasnt alone, there were at least 3 people around me 2 of which spoke to the guy. They didnt stop him or make any attempt but do they feel bad, like they should have done something, probably not. 

I havent been blamed that I know of and its all on CCTV and fingerprints have been taken and he could have gotten away with more, he could have threatened me so it could have been alot worse.
Horrible little shits though, how dare they come into my place of work and do that to me or to anyone just to get some drug money. Go out get a job and clean yourselves up. Fed up of seeing those pissheads in the street, load of kids, all of whom look like they are being dragged up and in need of a bath when my hubby and I work hard to make a nice life for us and our little monkey and his brother and/or sister when we are ready to expand. Makes me so mad. 

The Sarah Jane Adventures to continue without Sarah Jane

According to The Sun, the BBC are planning to continue the Sarah Jane Adventures even though she is sadly no longer with us.The bosses had been unsure of the future of the show without the main actress as well as explaining to the children why she isnt there without upsetting them. Which I didnt realise would be as big a deal as it is. 

My niece loves Sarah Jane so when I heard the news I texted her mother immediately and we were told that she had seen the news accidentally when the channel had been left on and she had walked in. Apparently she was heart broken and they felt so bad that they told her it was a mistake and put the dvd on to show that Sarah Jane is ok. My niece has only just turned 4 so its understandable that you dont really want to get into that and make her as upset as she was,

We shall have to wait and see what the writers come up with as tribute to this fabulous Dr Who Companion with the last few episodes of the series left to film.

Mums who inject botox into their kids - WHY?

A few weeks back I read this story in Closer about a mum who injected her daughters with botox that she got off the internet, which is obviously the safest place to buy toxins to inject into yourself let alone your children.

Before this story I had noticed a few popping up around the place where they were injecting botox into their children to make them stars for the future. One mum said that because she injected herself first then she knows its ok for her child. 

Front page of the paper today is a 7 year old who has botox and fillers every two months (injected by mum) and has had her eyebrows tattooed on. The reason for this lunacy? 

"What I am doing for Bree will make her a star.

"All A-list actresses and celebrities start early now and Bree will stand out due to her big lips and super-smooth, wrinkle-free skin.

"The tattooed eyebrows are only light and can be used as a reminder for her on how to pluck properly.

"To be a superstar you have to be different and highly styled.

"That is why I am doing this. She is my child and this is my decision - it will help shape her for the rest of her life." 

Apparently its all the rage in America especially with beauty pageants and modelling. This mother in particular is from San Diego and overheard mothers discussing using botox instead of putting layers of make up on the children - it saves you a fortune in cosmetics. 

Mum contacted 15 doctors who refused to inject her daughter but said that she would be able to as there was no law stopping her because she had trained as a beautician. In Britain and the States botox and fillers are self regulated, which means that it is not illegal to inject a child that young.

This mother also claims that she used both the botox and the filler on herself so that she knew it was safe for her daughter. She also tattooed her daughters eyebrows herself as she used to date a tattoo artist who showed her how to do it. 

"It was all Bree's idea. She showed me a picture of a model with beautiful eyebrows and said that's what she wanted.

"I used to date a tattoo artist who taught me how to do them.

"I borrowed a kit from a friend and tattooed a thin, light line on Bree's brows to give a natural but definite shape. Bree was brave and didn't cry.

"She is pleased with her new eyebrows and it means she will know what shape they are meant to be for the rest of her life." 

Her plans are to carry on and even tattoo the lip liner.

I dont know about other mothers out there but Ive had to go through the vaccinations with my little monkey and I hated every minute of it, so to put a needle in the skin of my child which they didnt need filled with poison (as how reliable are the things you buy off the internet?) this is just absolute insanity. Its one thing to dress your child up in dresses and plaster the make up on them but to inject and tattoo children is just plain child abuse. Little Bree is going to grow up insecure and with problems if her mother is allowed to carry on.

 As previously mentioned its not just this woman all you have to do is type in mum child botox and the list that comes up is amazing. A lot of the stories are duplicates but it shows the amount of children being subjected to this is growing in number regularly. This if anything proves that something needs to be done to prevent these children growing up psychologically damaged with a distorted view of the world and themselves.

 

Congratulations Prince & Princess William of Wales

Congratulations Wills & Kate.

Well I was only going to watch the actual ceremony and then the kiss on the balcony but ended up putting E! on at 9am and watching the entire thing. Im not entirely sure why but its probably the same reason why we watch four weddings as well as the fact that this is a fresh start for the monarchy to correct where they went wrong with Diana.
They were a gorgeous couple, smiling and happy throughout and it was lovely to watch and yes I'll admit I teared up a few times while watching the vows and then the kisses. 

At first I loved what I saw of the dress as Kate travelled by car to the church but as she got out I wasnt sure of the bottom but it did suit her and it is a gorgeous dress, better than Dianas and Fergies. 

I loved that there was that moment where the ring almost didnt go on and the fact when they kissed on the balcony he went red, it was so sweet and I wish them a long and happy marriage! 

Here's to the future King & Queen

Please let them do this tomorrow

If only this was what the Royals were planning.

Jeepers it was bad enough preparing for my wedding with a few week old baby and we did it all ourselves, at least Kate has lots of help to make sure things go smoothly!! 

Jodi Picoult Sing You Home

Jodi Picoult is one of, if not my main favourite author. She doesnt shy away from hard hitting situations and ones that make you sit and think. If you are looking for chick lit beach reads then she isnt the author for you. I do find her books emotionally draining sometimes and so have to put a chick lit one or two in before I read the next. 

Sing You Home was no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved the ending although I would have liked a little bit more of the ending explored but theres always a reason for the way Jodi does the endings the way she does. This particular book comes with a soundtrack that you download and play for each chapter. I didnt personally do this because as it stands I very rarely get a chance to read so didnt have chance to sort the music as sometimes I was out and about but I do have the music ready to listen to. 

This book is good although the one I recommend you start with is My Sisters Keeper, it is so much better than the film and will ease you into her style of writing nicely. 

Zoe and Max are married. For 9 years they have been trying to have a baby but due to fertility issues this is proving almost impossible even with IVF. After the birth of a premature stillborn boy their marriage disintegrates. After a few months apart they have both settled into new lives. Max becomes a born again Christian living with his born again brother and sister in law and Zoe marries a woman. Zoe and Vanessa decide that they want to start a family and that they want to use 3 embryos that were left over from the IVF treatments when Zoe was married to Max. Max needs to sign off on this but being naive the pastour of his church decides to bring in a hotshot lawyer to stop this as homosexuality is a sin and an innocent child shouldnt be brought up in that environment. Cue a long court battle which im sorry I cant tell you about because I may give it away. 

Jodi has come under a lot of flack about this topic, as she has done other topics but this one I dont understand why. I am Christian and I know people who are like the pastor and his flock who think that homosexuality is a life choice not something you are born with and so something that is wrong and sinful. 

I dont like this way of thinking and alot of the time you find the total bible bashers (yes I said it) are born again Christians. They are the ones that go out of their way to shove religion down your throat when they have only just found it. Ive grown up within the religion and am very openminded towards other religions and sexuality. 

If you love someone why cant you marry them be they black white green alien or same sex?
